Start here.
You know your practice inside out.
Your clients don’t.
You know the thinking behind the work. The judgement. The experience. The difficult things your team makes look easy.
But how much of that can a client actually see?
Maybe your website sounds like everyone else’s. Your proposals are solid but not compelling. Fee conversations feel harder than they should. The team struggles to explain what really sets you apart.
You know something could be clearer, stronger or more effective, but you’re not quite sure where the real problem sits.
That’s a good place to start.
Outside perspective. Insider understanding.
Here’s how we start.
We look at your practice through a client’s eyes.
Not just at what you’re saying, but at what’s actually coming through.
What do you appear to stand for? What are you known for? Why would someone choose you? Where is your expertise creating real value? And where is that value getting lost, buried in familiar architecture language or simply never mentioned at all?
Together, we look at:
what clients can actually see and understand about your value
what genuinely differentiates you, and what only sounds different
what your practice should be known for
where strong expertise is hiding behind generic language
whether your value is clearly connected to client concerns like risk, cost, process and outcomes
where confidence may be dropping away in proposals, fee conversations or business development
Before we meet.
Before we meet, your website and and a selection of client-facing material are reviewed through a client’s eyes.
Practice Session.
This first session gives us the inside view: where you’re heading, what you want more of, and what you believe sets you apart.
My bit.
The gap between the practice you know and the practice a client sees starts to become clear.
The strengths you’re underselling. The expertise you’ve stopped noticing. The opportunities hiding in plain sight.
My job is to join the dots, so you can see what matters most.
Then the good bit.
You come back to the outside view: what is landing, what isn’t, and which 3-5 things are worth acting on.
At the end.
You get a concise written summary of the priorities we’ve identified, why they matter and what to do next.
This isn’t a website critique or a branding exercise.
It’s about finding the gap between the value inside your practice and the value clients can actually see.
That might be positioning. It might be how you explain your expertise, your proposals, fee conversations or something valuable you’ve never thought to talk about at all.
First, we find what matters.
Then you can decide what, if anything, needs fixing.
